P&O Cruises introduces Adonia, the newest addition to the P&O fleet. Designed to offer a delightful, intimate cruising experience, Adonia is their smallest, and one of our most versatile ships. Her more petite scale means she can explore ports the larger ships of today are unable to visit and with 75% of her cabins featuring a balcony, the views are second to none.
Her passengers will explore hidden gems along the Mediterranean coast, such as Alghero in Sardinia and Zadar in Croatia, visit the awe-inspiring fjords of Norway and, a little closer to home, Adonia will tour the beautiful coastline of Britain and Ireland, taking in Dublin, Liverpool and Jersey.
Key Features of P&O’s Adonia:
• 30,300 tons
• 710 passengers
• 385 crew
• 75% of cabins feature a balcony
• Crow’s Nest
• Anderson’s Bar
• Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White
• Sorrento Italian Restaurant
Adonia’s ambience and decor are in keeping with the grand history and traditions of P&O Cruises. Her grand lounge plays host to elegant dances and Anderson’s bar feels reassuringly British. Wood-style panelling, a grand atrium and traditional artworks all combine to make Adonia a comfortable companion with whom to explore the lesser known parts of the world.
Adonia’s Naming Ceremony
Adonia will be officially named by her superstar godmother Dame Shirley Bassey at a lavish ceremony in Southampton on 21 May 2011, hosted by Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonnevile.
